A long, straight ridge on the edge of South Park. It runs N-S so it is flyable in any East or West wind, almost 360 degrees.
Easy takeoff and landings are everywhere. This is in South Park so it is going to be windy and cold even the summer. If you are up for some cool ridge running, this is the place.
You do have to walk up to the top however. No Roads.
Beautifully treed with the most extensive 360 degree views. Pikes Peak and the Platte River to the north and the Continental Divide to the south. Borders BLM that provides direct access to the Middle Fork of the South Platte River for miles of exceptional fishing. It is located about 50 minutes from Breckenridge and 1.5 hours’ form Colorado Springs. Year-round access provided by State high 9 and the ranch is served by IREA power on both sides.
