Zoutelande is located directly on the North Sea and is a popular Seaside resort in the middle of the sunny Dutch region of Zeeland.
Zoutelande has also been a very popular place for hang gliders and paragliders for years. It has almost the highest dunes in the Netherlands (approx. 30 to 45 meters) and is ideal as a take-off point for hang gliders and paragliders. You can fly for kilometers along the dunes.
The recommended wind direction is usually 235 degrees (+-15)
This site is a hang gliding site that you can fly in the real world. Has 2 different launch points. The best wind direction is 239.3 @ 10 knts but many sites can be flown from multiple directions, so check before you fly.
You can expect to find: thermal conditions ridge soaring conditions , all dependent on current weather conditions.
